doctors further training

Beginning in the winter semester 2003-04, The University of Zürich Hospital, Department of Gynecology, is holding a weekly further training event. In addition to existing teleconferencing with three other hospitals, each event is simultaneously recorded with «PLAY». Authorised medical staff can log-in at www.gyndoc.ch to visit the archive.

A moderator of «PLAY» is just watching over the quality for the broadcast and making sure the camera direction focus on the various referents.

«PLAY» coordinates the live recording without any additional effort, including the distribution of the audio stream and divergent graphics. For the target audience and the publishing of the web content the producer isn't saddled with time-consuming post-production, since all content is generated live.

This exampleshows of how easy medical further training is implemented by «PLAY» using an existing infrastruktur
